Hello, my name is

Glafira Kotova

I am a London-based artist of Slavic origin, working across traditional oil painting and digital art, often blending the two. My work explores themes of balance between nature and modern life, the flow of time, and human relationships.

Recent exhibitions include "What is Art" 2025 at Boomer Gallery in London, Russian Soul 2022 at the Yasnaya Polyana Museum in Tula and Art Department 2020 at Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2019, I was awarded the Diploma of First Place in the category "Best Landscape" for my painting Dinar Sea at the Chronos exhibition held by DAS in Moscow.

Education

Over the years, I developed my skills by restoring historical buildings in France, learning traditional painting techniques in Munich, and creating rural landscapes inspired by life in the Russian countryside. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in classical art and a deep appreciation for nature and history.
